• Visiting the grave of my Grandma.

  Back in Newport after 45 years living in New Zealand. I came to find the grave of my grandmother. Dorothy Phyllis Morgan. My husband and I had no problem finding the grave, and we were further delighted when the man [caretaker I guess] showed us the old books that are kept there. Such a wealth of history and hidden away till someone asks about it. This gentleman found the grave of my great grandparents too, and uncovered for me a family secret. I shall be bringing my mother's ashes back one day, and mine will also return to this cemetery which holds memories of a lifetime, and safeguards the remains of my family. Generations come and go, but in this placve one remembers with gratitude the care and respect given those who have gone to Glory before us. Diolch Yn Fawr
